In only two days 17 & 18 March, in order to terrorise the remaining Christian Serbs to leave their homeland of Kosovo, Albanian muslims burned down more then 40 monasteries and churches some over 1000 years old. This was done in the front of NATO and all the charities of the world who came to Kosovo to create a multiethnic society... No Independence For Kosovo VOTE NO ON HOUSE RESOLUTION 36 We, the signatories of this petition urge members of Congress to vote no on House Resolution 36. We do not support the United States position that Kosovo-Metohija, 15% of Serbia's territory should be taken away from her to appease Muslim insurgents who support Al-Qaeda and a thriving criminal element that imports illegal drugs and which also engages in human trafficking. CONSEQUENCES Such a position will most definitely contribute to instability in the area and in those regions in Europe and Asia that are watching the Kosovo debate very closely. To continue to flagrantly disregard International Law which provides for the respect of the sovereignty of nations and for the right of such nations to non-interference in internal affairs will usher in an era of unprecedented lawlessness between nations states. Therefore, we urge you to respect the constitution of Serbia which the people of Serbia recently approved and which reflects the will of those who voted for it: that Kosovo-Metohija is an integral part of Serbia. HISTORY We urge you to be mindful of the historical integrity of the Balkan region and the legacy of Josef Tito. Tito encouraged, during and after WWII, state sanctioned oppression of the Serbian peoples. He sought to displace Serbians in 1944 and in 1974 in an effort to create an Greater Albania at the expense of the Serbian peoples. He encourage illegal land grabs, disenfranchising the native Serbian peoples from their homes and their livelihood. It is telling that one of Tito's first acts after becoming the President of Serbia was to execute the Allied Forces greatest supporter against the Nazi regime, Draza Mihailovich. We urge you not to continue Josef Tito's legacy of oppression against the Serbian people with House Resolution 36. COMMIT TO A PRINCIPLED SOLUTION We urge you to commit to supporting a principled solution to Kosovo which would be acceptable to both sides. DO NOT RECOGNISE KOSOVO INDEPENDENCE We urge you to respect the United States commitment to promoting peace in the world. We urge you, therefore to respect the United Nations Security Council votes on Kosovo-Metohija. We expect the United States to behave honourably in behalf of its citizens in this regard and to respect the legacy of both Theodore Roosevelt the first American to win the Nobel Peace prize for his efforts in the Portsmouth Treaty, and Eleanor Roosevelt one of the drafters of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The rights of the 100,000 remaining Serbian population is at stake. As a member of the United Nations, you have pledged to be a supporter of the rights of all humans not only of some. Any acts outside of this will mark the United States as a violator of human rights. SUPPORT PRINCIPLED SOLUTION ONLY Therefore, we urge you to support a principled solution that is aligned with International Law and aligned with due respect of Nation Sovereignty. We the signatories therefore urge members of Congress to vote no on House Resolution 36. The Signatories: Please sign Petition: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/905791187?ltl=1174411280

The JSO is one of the most secretive Serbian special operations units, placed under the control of the State Security Service (SDB). The unit's first commander was Franko "Frenki" Simatovic, a veteran of the wars in Croatia and Bosnia, and he is also assumed to have been the Chief of Special Forces of State Security. The direct action element of the SDB was first formed in 1991 under the name Jedinica za posebnu namenu (JPN), and was renamed to Jedinica za Specijalne Operacije (JSO) soon after. Detailed information about the JSO is very hard to come by and verify, but a general picture can be put together using various sources. The JSO is sometimes considered to be a paramilitary force, rather than a government special operations unit, and goes by several nicknames including, "Frenkijevci," after the commander Franko Simatovic, and the "Red Berets." They are primarily used for "black" operations, including assassinations and surgical strikes against suspected terrorists. The chain of command that the JSO goes through is unclear, but it has been reported that they answered directly to Milosevic during the conflict in Kosovo. There have been a lot of rumors concerning the JSO, both about their activities and their appearances. Reports have members of the JSO wearing cowboy hats, pigtails, black uniforms, uniforms of the Ministry of Interior and cream-colored uniforms. They have been accused of vast slaughters of civilians and have been named as taking part in ethnic cleansing in Kosovo. These reports cannot be confirmed, and cannot be accurately attributed to the JSO as there were a number of paramilitary formations operating in Kosovo with similar uniforms and appearances. Former members of the JSO cite the unit as being a highly disciplined force of operators tasked with carrying out operations for the Serbian government. A former JSO member, cites the force as being involved in assassination and other forms of special missions, and compares it to units of many other governments who are unofficially tasked with the same thing. According to him, a 1000-strong JSO contingent arrived in Kosovo in February 1999, citing their mission as being to "completely destroy the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), their bases and their illegal country." He maintains the unit was composed only of professional soldiers. "We were professionals. We weren't interested in killing women and children. Our job was to destroy the KLA, and we did that." In his opinion, people capable of committing massacres and mutilating civilians should be executed. The JSO was said to be deployed around Kosovo in pursuit of Albanian guerrillas. There have been rumours that the unit had also been deployed to Montenegro in anticipation of civil unrest there. Numerous reports have the JSO present in Belgrade on October 5, 2000, during the uprising against former Serb president Slobodan Milosevic. Apparently, JSO operators were easily identifiable in high-quality equipment, but they did not act against the demonstrators, and stood by instead. It has been reported that elements of JSO have also been deployed to the area around Presevo Valley and the region around Bujanovac to combat the rising Albanian insurgency there. However, the government says they did not enter the buffer zone along with other Serbian special operations units in March of 2001. The current commander is said to be a man nicknamed "Legion," a veteran of the Foreign Legion and the wars in Bosnia and Croatia. The JSO is said to have favored wearing green hats, and were easily recognized by the high quality of their equipment and weapons, which were Western in origin. Their uniforms have been reported as being either green or cream coloured. Favoured mode of transportation are several US-built 'Hummer' all purpose vehicles. These were civilian models that were locally armoured and armed in Serbia. The Hummers are usually armed with M2 HB .50 cal machine guns, or two AGS-17 automatic grenade launchers. In addition, the JSO operates one "Grizzly" armoured personnel carrier that was captured from Canadian peacekeeping forces in Bosnia. For air transportation, the unit has at their disposal two Mil Mi-17 helicopters - one in a gunship configuration fitted with unguided rockets, and another in a VIP configuration. (Thanks to VM for this info) According to Milos, the former JSO operator, operators were paid $8,000 monthly, in addition to hazard pay.

Great Serbian soccer player. He is regarded by many as one of the greatest free kick takers of all time. With his left foot he has scored numerous goals on direct free kicks from the defender position, including a hat-trick of free kicks for Lazio in a Serie A match against Sampdoria, which earned him the nickname Bomber from Borovo. He was part of the golden generation of Yugoslav players who won the World Youth Cup in Chile 1987. On April 9, 2006, in a league away game versus Ascoli Calcio Mihajlović scored his 27th career free-kick goal in Serie A, an absolute record. Mihajlović ended his playing career in 2005/2006, but he is still active in Inter Milano as assistant coach of Roberto Mancini.

Every winter, thousands of dolphins are confined and brutally killed in small towns across Japan. Fishermen often injure a few captives by spear thrust or knife slash to retain the group since dolphins never abandon injured family members. Dolphin meat are later marketed and often mislabeled as whale meat. Very Graphical.Warning, the images in this video are highly disturbing!
