I enjoy extra jingle in my pocket at the end of the month just as much as the next guy, possibly more so. But I really like telling others how to save some cash too. There was a time we as a family would take advantage of any and all discounts religiously, and it appears we're heading that direction once more. If you're doing an excessive amount of printing, or even a little, you need to hear this. For the most part, you're throwing money away if you're buying remanufactured inkjets. You will be hard-pressed to find refilled inkjets that will last like an OEM will. However, when you're using replacment laser toners it's in your best interest to find a company that delivers quality products, STMC regulated, and put some of your hard earned cash back in your pocket today! Have you had a bad experience with replacement toners? Many have experienced the same issues, refilled or remanufactured toners are usually garbage. The refill toner cartridge industry can get a little shady. Ink on the Spot sells compatible toners and is one of the better companies out there. All their toners go through a very intense mannufacturing process, many parts get replaced on every laser toner, they want to be absolutely sure you are completely satisfied. Why use just some hole drilling, toner leaking fly-by-night company? Find a decent company like Ink on the Spot, or at least a toner company that suits you and your needs. Another thing to consider is the horrible cost per page of low yield toners, talk about cash down the drain. There will be times when you don't have an option, for example the laserjet 6l toner. The laserjet 6l toner is a C3906A, and that's all you have for that printer, you're pretty limited. Another example is the laserjet 4l toner cartridge, you're stuck with buying the 92274A. There are multiple printers that use low yield only, try to avoid them , because you just end up buying too many toners in the long run.The cat's out of the bag. Printers that take low and high yield are excellent machines. If you're in need of an HP laser printer cartridge on the toner should be a number see if it ends in an 'A', a perfect toner would be the Q2612A, look for a higher yeild 'X' cartridge. The Q2612A has only a 2,000 page yield, while the Q2612X has 3,000. The nice thing is, it's normally on a few bucks more! You can't go wrong, a huge chunk of change right back in your pocket. An HP 4050 toner is another point, this machine uses the C4127X and C4127A. The C4127X prints a whopping 4,000 more pages than the C4127A, all for a few more dollars. You're check book will thank you for buying replacement toners, do you're due diligence and find the right company to work with. Someone is deliberately cutting down tree branches and laying them on roadways across Granville County. The incidents have resulted in three wrecks and the death of one motorcyclist. Pete Hicks was thrown 75 feet when his motorcycle hit a tree that was stretched across Mumms Road 12 a.m. Saturday. Friends describe Hicks as a man who loved his family and his Harleys. "He was a hardworking, everyday type of guy that provided real well for his family, his children," says Hicks' friend David Kennedy. The 18-inch tree trunk was deliberately cut so it fell across the road. Another driver swerved to avoid the tree moments before Hicks slammed into it. Alvin Hobgood called 911 from his house about a quarter of a mile away from the accident. He says he was stunned when he learned the incident was no accident. "You just go around asking yourself why, trying to reason why this would happen and why it was done," Hobgood says. Minutes earlier on Highway 50, a car slammed head-on into a tree in the road. Another tree was cut on Old Weaver Trail in Durham County, but it did not fall across the road. Both trees were cut in the same fashion as the tree in Granville County. Hicks' family and friends find it hard to comprehend why anyone would set a deadly prank. They say they want the suspects caught. "If they think this is fun, maybe someone needs to strap them on a Harley and put a tree across the road and let them go across," Kennedy says. Hicks would have celebrated his 40th birthday on Saturday. Hicks' family and friends have put together a $7,500 reward for anyone that has any information about the crime. Investigators say that since the prank was so premediated and deliberate, a murder charge could be possible. less
