From Manchester UK have lived in Japan 17 years. My father-in-law is 2nd top priest of Niche Renshu in Japan. Married almost 15 years, have looked after this temple more or less single handily and gained trust from most of the 300 connected to this temple. So I was given the honour of been asked to be cameraman for this ceremony which takes place only once in a life time of any temple here in Japan. With No restrictions what so ever, you can see a 3 hr video cut down to 10 minutes though the full 3 hrs video for those interested in culture will be uploaded else where soon.
This ceremony represents happiness for the new temple and brings good luck by the traditional culture which marks back hundreds of years.
Here you can see and hear sounds that are unique.
I hope you will enjoy the beauty of different cultures as I do. Thank you (more)
